The University of Hong Kong is committed to nurturing its students as global citizens and to provide them with as many international education opportunities as it can during their study at the University. To this end, the University has developed academic links with over 300 universities and research institutions worldwide. The University also has reciprocal student exchange programmes with over 180 partner institutions in 25 countries.
The Office of International Student Exchange (OISE) is responsible for developing and enhancing international relations with overseas institutions by establishing joint student mobility programmes and through other academic collaboration. It has been administering the HKU Worldwide Student Exchange Programme for undergraduate students since 1998 and provides support services to both incoming and outgoing exchange students. OISE also works closely with various faculties and centres of the University on strategic partnerships in joint academic and research collaboration.
