The LLIC Program Committee is under discussion with different companies and organizations in Hong Kong, Shanghai and other cities in China regarding internship placements and collaboration. As one can imagine, it is a difficult year for all industries and we are doing our best to confirm internships with as diverse a group of companies as we can.? We appreciate your understanding in this regard.

The number 1 most important quality to have when working overseas is FLEXIBILTY! The chances of you enjoying your summer experience are greater if you remain flexible and adaptable about the details (ie. Being comfortable with possibly not having the ¡§dream¡¨ internship) and retaining a sense of humor and adventure throughout the program.

Companies:
The Learn, Live and Intern in China Program Committee is grateful for the support that has been given to us from the first companies that participated in our 2008 Scheme. Based on the success of the program, we have expanded the program and are always on the look-out for more companies. If you are interested or know of any companies that would be of interest, please contact us.
If you would like to speak with a former company representative, please contact us and we will put you in touch with them.

Reasons why this program benefits participating companies:

1. Opportunity to ¡§try out¡¨ potential employees for a short term period (7 weeks);
2. Access to top-notch talent from overseas (ie. Students from Harvard, Princeton, MIT etc) and locally (HKU: including local, Mainland and international students);
3. Opportunity to expand network through our company/university gatherings (receptions and social activities where we invite company representatives from all participating programs);
4. Opportunity to work with young people and make a difference¡K.
