Various programmes for different target groups are organised to meet the growing needs in health promotion and wellness. Programmes currently open for enrolment or those that will be open for enrolment:

  • Group Exercise Classes (re-starting on 3rd January 2012)

    Exercising in a group is a fun and motivating way to improve and/or maintain physical activity. The Active Health Clinic has designed classes to meet the different needs of our clients using facilities at SHSC including:

    Circuit Training Class (at Exercise Clinic, 1/F, Health & Fitness Complex) -
    Every Tuesday & Friday, 9:30 to 10:30am (No class on public holidays)

    Core Stability Class (at Multi-purpose Room, 1/F, Health & Fitness Complex) -
    Every Wednesday, 9:30 to 10:30am (No class on public holidays)

    Please come and join us if you have time! First time participants please call to reserve your space beforehead in order to enjoy the trial out session for FREE! Other classes under the Unisports programme are held at FHSC.

  • Personal Training Programme at Stanley Ho Sports Centre

    The Personal Training Programme aims to provide one-on-one fitness and health training sessions to our members. Led by our team of highly qualified exercise specialists, personal trainers, and strength and conditioning specialists, this group of health and fitness experts will guide and monitor any of our members toward reaching their optimal results in accordance with their personal goals and individual abilities.

  • Health & Fitness Outdoor Training Circuit

    Early morning training at our excellent sports facilities with a qualified exercise coach is one of the best ways to get fit and start your day. We now offer two session options in the Health and Fitness Outdoor Training Circuits program for your convenience.

  • Corporate Health & Fitness Programme

    Improved physical activity in the workplace has been shown to decrease absenteeism, reduce stress and anxiety, reduce repetitive strain and overuse injuries and improve employee productivity and performance. The Active Health Clinic has put together services such as risk factor profiles, work station assessment and pre employment screening that can provide employers and employees with important health information. Group fitness classes can also be developed which will make physical activity more enjoyable, whilst building team cohesion as employees work together towards common goals.

  • Active Kids Sports Club

    Regular exercise is crucial for improving and maintaining overall health and fitness. Developing activity at young age, through fun and enjoyable sports, fosters healthy lifestyle habits that can be maintained throughout adulthood. The IHP Active Kids Sport Club of the Institute of Human Performance (IHP) aims to provide children with the opportunity to partake in sports in safe and fun-filled environment! We are pleased to offer a variety of sports programmes for different age groups from toddlers 18 months of age up to 15 year old kids.

    In Spring term 2012, we are very excited to introduce two new programmes: Team Building and Dance Combo. Together with the returning of Sports Climbing and other highly popular sports programmes including Soccer, Tennis, Speed & Fitness Training, among others, we do sincerely hope that our variety of programmes will provide more opportunities for your kids to stay active!
