Rights

  1. Life Membership

    This type of membership is open to all graduates of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Hong Kong (the "Faculty") entitled to become Life Members upon approval by the Executive Committee and payment of the applicable entrance fee. Life Members shall enjoy all the privileges of members, and shall have the right to hold office, attend and vote at any General Meeting of the Association.

  2. Associate Membership

    This type of membership is open to graduates of the University of Hong Kong who are NOT graduates of the Faculty entitled to become Associate Members upon approval by the Executive Committee and payment of the applicable entrance fee. Associate Members shall enjoy all the privileges of members, but shall not have the right to hold office except in sub-committees and shall not have the right to vote at any meeting of the Association.

  3. Student Membership

    This type of membership is open to students at the Faculty entitled to become Students Members upon approval by the Executive Committee and payment of the applicable entrance fee. Students Members shall enjoy all the privileges of members, but shall not have the right to hold office except in sub-committees and shall not have the right to vote at any meeting of the Association.

Life Membership HK$400 (HK$200 for fresh graduates)
Associate Membership HK$300
Student Membership HK$20

* The membership fee is one-time fee.
* The membership fee is subject to change each year.
* The membership fee is not refundable upon membership termination.

Payment method

After submitting the application form, please made your payment within 30 days by one of the following methods.

  1. By email: You may settle payment in cash or by cheque at a teller counter of any HSBC branch. The fee should be made payable to “H.K.U. Engineering Alumni Association Limited” account number “004 534 715 214 001”. Please email the bank pay-in-slip (ETC slip with clear printout is acceptable) to (hkueaaengineering.hku.hk) to complete the registration.
