We are from the Young Members’ Program Session 2011 – 12 of HKU Engineering Alumni Association (HKUEAA).Sustainable Development is a current hot topic in every discipline, particularly engineering. In the past few years, HKUEAA has been promoting sustainable development (SD) in the society by having experiential projects for HKU engineering alumni and students to appreciate the examples of SD outside Hong Kong and to help develop SD ideas in the context of Hong Kong.
This year our theme is ‘*High Technology Brings out Sustainable Development*’. This "overseas study tour to Singapore, will be held during 29/5 – 1/6(Tue – Fri) this year:
Fee (transportation & accommodation inclusive): $3,000 - 3,500 per head for full-time engineering students
$4,500 - 5,000 per head for alumni
No. of participants*: 20-25
Deadline for application: 11:59pm on 25 April 2012
We aim to appreciate Singapore’s high technology applications in sustainable development. Tentative visiting theme spots include *Marina Bay, Garden by the Bay, Zero Energy Building, NEWater, Changi Water Reclamation Plant, Singapore URA City Gallery, CleanTech Park and Eco-Green Park.

Get to know experienced alumni from senior positions working in renowned companies (HSBC, Bank of China, MTRC, CLP, Microsoft, Atos, AXA, PWC etc.) or government authorities or even from non-engineering disciplines to form friendly relationships with them. Gain support and guidance on the personal development from them. Broaden your horizons and make a breakthrough of yourself for your career and lives.
Mentees' Application:
Target: All Engineering Students and Fresh Engineering graduates with less than three years working experience
Application: From Now till 27 March 2012.

Mentors' Recruitment:
