To recognize the effort of staff/students in promoting equal opportunities, a number of stories will be selected and their stories will be displayed in Knowles Concourse from 22 March 2010 to 28 March 2010.

Talk by Ms Anna Wu Hung-yuk on "Equality & the Development Mandate" (1:00pm to 1:25pm)
Ms Wu is a member of the Executive Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, chairperson of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority, a member of the Law Reform Commission and the Working Group on Mediation of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. She was formerly the Chairperson of Equal Opportunities Commission and a member of the Legislative Council.
- Talk by Ms Cynthia Lam from the Equal Opportunities Commission on "Race Discrimination Ordinance" (1:25pm to 2:00pm)

Sharing Session by Mr So Wa Wai, 6-time Paralympic Gold Medalist
- Mr Gilbert Mo, a graduate of 1984 will deliver a speech on the rationale of setting up the "Inclusion Leadership Award for Exchange Programme" and "Social Inclusion Activities Grant"
Mr Gilbert Mo is a Deputy Law Draftsman of the Department of Justice and is in charge of Chinese legislative drafting. He is one of the most experienced bilingual legislative counsels in Hong Kong.
- Mrs Cherry Tse, The Commissioner for Labour and other graduates of 1984 will present Certificates of Recognition on the Achievement of Excellence of HKU staff and students in promoting equal opportunities to awardees and Certificates to participants of the wheelchair challenge. 2 stories on the promotion of equal opportunities will be shared. Participants of the wheelchair challenge will be asked to share their experience during the post-challenge sharing session.
